Description

Love the idea of being part for our CSA but for various reasons cannot? We have got the perfect solution if you:

  • travel a lot
  • cannot commit to a regular pick up time
  • need flexibility regarding location
  • have special dietary restrictions/allergies to particular produce
  • don’t like the “surprise” aspect of CSA
  • LOVE buying local
  • want to support our farm’s healthy cash flow
You pay $200   – You get $220
You pay $400   – You get $450
You pay $600   – You get $700
You pay $1000 – You get $1175

How does it work?

Buy the CSA Value option of your choice. We will load your information (name, email, CSA level, etc) into our point of sale system. You visit any markets we attend, shop, select your own produce, and check out with your CSA “store credit”. No annoying card to worry about carrying AND your CSA will be listed under one name that you (or whoever you give permission to) can use at checkout.

A La Carte credit an only be used when you shop directly from us— at farmers markets, Boston Public Market, the New Braintree Farm or online at stillmansfarm.com. Mercato shoppers may use A La Carte for phone in or email orders but not directly through mercato.com. A La Carte credit may not be used to purchase a CSA. A La Carte NEVER EXPIRES.

Most of the markets we attend run late May or early June through Thanksgiving, the Boston Public market and Jamaica Plain Saturday Market are open year-round. Check out our markets list.

In keeping with the a la carte format, we can guarantee that there will be glorious produce to choose from but we won’t be able to guarantee what produce will be there. In other words, there will not be reserved fruit or corn, for instance, with your name on it.

    Plus: the experience of shopping Stillman’s in JP is always positive: the selection and quality of fruit & veggies matched by friendliness of staff who become friends to many of us as the season progresses.

    I love the produce and I love the convenience! I would get the regular summer CSA except that in the summer I tend to be out of town now and then and I would have to miss the deliveries. But with the a la carte option I can get your good produce when I am in town and not miss anything when I am out of town.
